Expert review of the Epson SureColor SC-T3000 printer
The multifunction Epson SureColor SC-T3000 is a printer focussed almost entirely on printing rather than extra features. Running costs are reasonable due to the availability of high-capacity (super high-yield) cartridges, which are available above. Unfortunately, there are no third-party compatible cartridges, which often offer even better value. Maximum print resolution is 2880 x 1440 dpi.
Design & Features
The Epson SureColor SC-T3000 puts function before form, passing on the 'designer look' of many recent models. The screen usefully displays photos transferred directly to the printer. This A4 printer comes as standard with a scanner, an integrated colour display, PC-less functionality, .
Very little, unfortunately!
We Don't Like
At 7 years old, the Epson SureColor SC-T3000 is getting a bit long in the tooth. Measuring 1050mm wide, it has a large footprint, especially as maximum print size is only A4. While the look of a printer isn't going to change the quality of prints or cost to run, it's still a shame that the SureColor SC-T3000 couldn't have been styled better, especially when it's such an imposing and large object. Running costs aren't as low as they could be as no compatible third-party cartridges are available.
